UKMap® Backed by GIS Professionals
First commercial resellers for UKMap announced
The GeoInformation® Group today announces that three of the UK™s longest and most established geographic information suppliers are backing UKMap by committing to become its first resellers.
MapMechanics, London, specialists in the supply of transportation and geodemographic data, Stanfords, London, the world-renowned map reseller and centremapslive.com, UK™s mapping portal, have signed agreements to enable them to resell UKMap to their customer base.
These companies will offer the entire UKMap pack through their direct sales channels. Stanfords is also offering innovations such as the delivery of UKMap in DXF format for the architectural market.
Stanfords, MapMechanics and centremapslive.com have also committed staff to UKMap training courses to enable them to give the very best advice and support on the use of UKMap for their customers.
“This marks a significant step in the development of UKMap, by making it available to a wider audience and supported through these knowledgeable partners”, comments Dr Alun Jones, Managing Director of The GeoInformation Group, creators of the UKMap.
Stanfords can be reached via www.stanfords.co.uk/business-mapping/ukmap and MapMechanics can be contacted via www.mapmechanics.com
